Palak Paneer

1 package frozen/chopped spinach (300 grams) – pureed
200 grams(1/2 package Nanak Paneer) cut into bit size pieces
1 small onion – chopped
5 red chilies – chopped
1 tbs garam masala
salt to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 garlic cloves – sliced
Oil 4 tsp

Method

In a non stick fry pan, heat oil and lightly brown Paneer on all sides, keep aside
In the same fry pan, using the left over oil, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, stir for app 30 seconds
Add onions and stir for app 1 minute
Add chopped chilies and stir until the the onions start to lightly brown
Add sliced garlic and let it brown
Add pureed spinach and salt to taste and cook for app 5 minutes and stir occasionally
Add garam masala and mix well,
Cover and cook for 5 minutes
Add paneer and mix well, let it simmer for app 3 more minutes

Serve Hot with Naan or Roti
