10 peices Fresh Fish- cut up
2 cups Basmati Rice
2tbsp Cooking Oil
1 Tomato cut up
5 tbsp Yogurt
1 pkt Biriyani Mix (I used Shaan Sindhi Biriyani Mix)
1/2 tsp crushed Cumin,Mustard seeds,Fenugreek Seeds
Fresh Curry Leaves
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Fresh Chili,Ginger Garlic Paste
Fresh Mint and Corriander Leaves
5 Cardamom and Cloves (for rice)
1/2 cup Fried Onion
Fish Marinate in lemon juice and leave for 15 mins, Rinse well.
Mix biriyani with yogurt and marinate fish and leave for 10 mins
Add oil in a pan on medium heat, add curry leaves,cumin,mustard,fenugreek seeds.
Add onions n brown them, then add ginger,garlic,chili paste and cook until light golden brown
Add Tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
Add marinated fish and cook on high , while and stirring well but make sure the fish does not break apart.
Add Fried Onion and a handful of Mint leaves before taking it off the stove.
(Add a little bit of water if the fish it too dry)
Set it Aside
Cook Rice in the rice cooker (2:2 ratio rice n water)
Add Cardamom and cloves(to the water)
Add a few Drops of Biriyani Essence for fragrance and color
Rice > Fish > Mint/corriander and repeat
