1/2 kg powered milk
1 can condensed milk
1/2 tsp cardamom powder- add more if desired
1/2 tsp nutmeg powder – add more if desired
Milk, ghee or butter as needed
METHOD
Add Powered milk in a stainless steel bowl
Add cardamom and nutmeg powder and mix them well until well combined
Slightly warm the condensed milk for app 1 minute
Use the condense milk to form a soft dough
Add a little bit of regular milk, ghee or butter to soften the dough is its too stiff
Spread the dough on a greased tray and let it sit until its becomes hard ( you can also put it in the refrigerator)
Cut in squares
Add sprinkles for the classic look of Fiji style Barfi
